Yes ! All of the 3 floors are equipped with their own powerful air conditioning system.

Is Kaprije a car-free island?

Yes ! The island of Kaprije is a car-free island. You have to park your car on the mainland in Sibenik and travel there by ferry. This works smoothly.

Is there a bakery?

Yes ! In the summer months there is a small bakery at the Neptun restaurant, which is a 1-minute walk from the house. All year round you can also buy bread at Market Lola, which is also right next to Konoba Neptun.

Is a barbecue available?

Yes, there is a modern gas barbecue available. If you run out of gas, you can buy more at the Neptun restaurant. Please ask for Slaven.

Yes, we are always available for you! Before and after booking for various inquiries. And of course also during your vacation in our house for questions or problems.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes ! Dogs are allowed in our house.
1 dog is no problem anyway, for more dogs we ask for consultation in advance.
Otok Kaprije is generally a very dog-friendly island. Dogs are allowed on all beaches and most dogs run around freely on the island.
We ask you to remove their droppings and dispose of them in the household waste. There are plenty of bags for poop in the shoe cupboard in the house (first floor)!

Is a coffee machine available?

Yes, there are even 2 in the kitchen. A small Saeco portafilter machine and an Italian espresso maker for the stove.
Don’t forget to bring your own coffee powder!

How many toilets are there?

There are 2 toilets in the house. One on the first floor, where the washer-dryer is located, and one on the 1st floor. Both are separate from the bathrooms and each has its own washbasin.

Getting around on Kaprije?

Otok Kaprije is a car-free island.
However, bicycles, scooters and electric scooters are permitted.
However, the island is not large so you can easily explore it on foot.

Does your kitchen has a dishwasher?

Yes ! The kitchen has a large dishwasher.

Are there restaurants on the island of Kaprije?

Yes, there are 8 restaurants on the island of Otok Kaprije, all of which are highly recommended!
All are within walking distance of the house.
From pizza, typical Croatian dishes to fine dining, everything is available!

Is there WLAN – WIFI in the house?

Yes, of course there is! You will find the access data in a picture frame in the living room (first floor). You can also connect conveniently using the QR code.

Is there a PC workstation / desk in the house?

Yes! On the top floor (2nd floor) we have prepared a small desk including a comfortable swivel chair for you. Perfect for home office days. Here you can work on your computer in air-conditioned comfort with a wonderful view of the sea!

Is there a washing machine in the house?

Yes ! There is a modern washing machine with drying function in the WC on the first floor.

Can I arrive with my own boat?

Yes you can!
We can organize a parking space in the water on the island just a few minutes’ walk from the house.
We can also help you crane the boat on the mainland into the water and back!
Please let us know in advance if you would like to arrive by boat so that we have time to help you organize everything!

Is it possible to rent a motorboat on Kaprije?

Is it Yes, this is even possible directly with us.
We rent out our own Marinello Eden 590 motorboat with 115 hp outboard engine to our guests.
The boat is licensed for 7 adults and offers very spacious sunbathing areas on board thanks to its clever layout.
If required, we can also provide you with a list of great bathing bays that can only be reached by boat.

What about the kitchen equipment?

The kitchen is very well and extensively equipped. We have a ceramic hob electric stove incl. extractor fan with 4 plates, a microwave, a dishwasher, kettle and an oven. Enough plates and cutlery for up to 10 people. Pans and pots in various sizes. Scissors, barbecue cutlery and much more!

How many bathrooms are there?

We have 5 showers in the house. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own shower including washbasin. There is also an outdoor shower on the terrace on the ground floor for cooling off quickly on hot summer days.

Is fishing allowed?

With a recreational fishing license, fishing is allowed everywhere on and around Otok Kaprije! You should buy the license at least the day before – unfortunately this is not possible on the same day!

Otok Kaprije is located in the middle of a wonderful fishing area. The reef to the west of the island of Zirje, which is much sought after by anglers, is not far away and the tuna hunting grounds are also on the doorstep.

Where can we park our car?

As the island of Kaprije is car-free, your car must be parked on the mainland. If you are arriving by ferry, we recommend City Parking in Sibenik, as the ferries also depart from Sibenik. It is about a 10-minute walk from City Parking to the ferry port. We always take our luggage to the ferry by car and then park the car there. In 2025, a day parking ticket cost €5.
If you like it more comfortable and prefer a parking lot with shuttle service to/from the ferry port, you can book Slaven’s parking lot with shuttle transport. Please book in advance under: +385 914 636 912
If you are traveling with your own boat, you can also choose Tribunj as a departure point, for example, because it is closer to Otok Kaprije.

Is there a supermarket?

Yes, there is a small supermarket on the island. It is a 1-minute walk from the house and is called Market Lola
It is a very small market. You can get all the basic food and drinks there. There is also fresh bread and vegetables.
However, we recommend that you go shopping on the mainland in Sibenik before traveling to the island. You can really get everything there in the various supermarkets.

What sea bathing options are there on the island of Kaprije?

Otok Kaprije offers a number of natural bathing opportunities. The water on many of the beaches is as beautiful as in the Caribbean. You should bring your own sun protection and beach mats! There are sun loungers at the house.

Is tap water safe to drink?

Yes, it is.
It is brought in by boat every week, pumped into a large cistern on the island and stored there until needed. It is slightly chlorinated. The water is drinking water from the Sibenik tap water network.
In the fall of 2025, the island of Kaprije will be connected to the tap water network. Deliveries by boat will then no longer be necessary.
You can also buy water in the mini-market on the island.
There is also a drinking water dispenser with a cooling function in the house. Use this by bringing your own water gallons (15 or 18 liters). You can buy this before your vacation from our trusted water dealer. He also delivers directly to the ferry port.

Do you have TV´s in the house?

Yes, we have a total of 5 televisions in the house. One in the living room and one in each bedroom.
You can enjoy Netflix and Amazon Prime programs on them!
